Italy increases footwear exports to Germany

14/03/2016
In the first 10 months of 2015, Italy registered a 4.8% increase in the volume of shoe exports to Germany and 0.9% growth terms of value over the same period in 2014.

Germany is the second biggest export destination for Italian shoes after France.

It takes 17% of total exports by volume, around 32 million pairs per year.

Italian shoe companies will be in Munich between March 13 and 15 for the 46th edition of Moda Made in Italy.

About 130 exhibitors - more than in previous editions - will represent 300 Italian and European brands and show off their collections for autumn/winter 2016.
