Essen-based footwear retail group Deichmann has announced an 8% increase in its revenues for 2015 compared to the previous year, reaching a total of almost €5.3 billion.

In terms of volume, Deichmann stores in 23 countries sold a total of 172 million pairs of shoes and boots last year. Its total number of retail outlets at the end of 2015 was 3,710, up 110 from the previous year.
