Italy: Leather research institute to add footwear capabilities

Tuscany-based leather research centre POTECO has announced that its expansion plans include a footwear assembling line to enable it to offer greater research capabilities for footwear firms or producers of leather for footwear.

The €945,000 contract for the work was won by construction firm Empoli Luce and should be completed by December.
