ASICS America has launched what it describes as its “most technically-innovative sports performance footwear”, the new GEL-Quantum 360, which uses its patented cushioning.

The shoe was more than five years in the making at the Institute of Sports Science in Kobe, Japan.

Tom Garza, senior director of footwear at ASICS America, said: "People love ASICS gel technology and tell they want more of it, so we are giving it to them. It is a game-changer in terms of cushioning. You feel it the second you put it on."
