ASICS registers strong growth in first six months

Japanese sports group ASICS has reported sales of around $2.25 billion for the first six months of its current business year, March-September 2014.

This figure represents an increase of 72.5% compared to the first half of last financial year.

In a statement, the company said it was pleased with its sales performance across the board but singled out the US as a market that had become of great strategic importance to the brand.
