Mizuno USA aims for ‘next level’ with marketing hire

Mizuno USA has appointed Mark O'Brien as vice-president of brand marketing and management, reporting to Bob Puccini, director of Mizuno Corporation

He started his career in sports marketing with the Texas-Louisiana Professional Baseball League, Houston Rockets and GMR Marketing and has since worked for MillerCoors, Johnsonville Sausage, HoneyBaked and Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

Mr O'Brien said: "The sporting goods industry is evolving as consumers' demands and needs are ever-changing. Opportunity is at a high to reach consumers in authentic, meaningful ways." 

Mr Puccini added: "Mark's consumer-centric approach, in addition to his personal and professional background in sports, will enable him to help lead Mizuno to the next level."
