US-based leather shoe maker Allen Edmonds is embarking on its 'Rediscover America' national sales event, and has announced that it has created 350 jobs in the last two years with over 300 in its manufacturing facility in Wisconsin.

The 92 year-old company, whose Goodyear welted shoes are handcrafted using a 212-step production process, has recently opened its 51st US retail location in Buckhead.

“The Rediscover America Event is the most important time of the year to us,” said Paul Grangaard, CEO of Allen Edmonds. “It gives us the opportunity to renew interest in American manufacturing, quality and service. It’s also our way to thank our loyal Allen Edmonds customers across the country.”
