Bata expands safety shoe line

Netherlands-based Bata Industrials has expanded its range of safety shoes with the addition of three new models, all of which are equipped with the waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex laminate.

The addition of the Traxx 104, 105 and 106 bring its total offering of Gore-Tex models available to eight.
These shoes are particularly well-suited for use in the construction, road-building and hydraulic engineering, plant and animal sectors, industry, transport and logistics segments. They offer protection against cold and wet weather conditions.

The Traxx 104 and 105 are both equipped with a steel mid-sole and steel toecap, unlike the Traxx 106, which only has a steel toecap. Each model is made from full-grain leather combined with breathable textiles. The shoes also feature TPU toecap protection, which prevents the leather on the shoe nose from getting damaged if the wearer has to crawl.

The new line is also equipped with a QuattroTech sole, which provides anti-slip, the shock-absorbing Tunnelsystem and the energy-saving Easy Rolling System.
