Massimo Donda’s 'At the Feet of Success’ published in English

Massimo Donda’s book ‘At the feet of success’ will be available in English as of February. The book contains three forewords, one from president of the Italian Trade Confederation (Confcommercio), Carlo Sangalli, another by President of Geox, Mario Moretti Polegato, and the third by president of FDRA Footwear Distributors and Retailers of America, Peter Mangione.

In cooperation with journalist Andrea Guolo, Mr Donda researched 16 companies, analysing the various types of Italian footwear currently on the market. These enterprises included four high-end enterprises: Fratelli Rossetti, Renè Caovilla, Casadei and Moreschi; one specialised in the comfort sector: Melluso; two representing the casual sector: Lumberjack and Frau; three from the sports segment: Fila, Diadora and Superga; three representing the large quantities sector: Olip, Manas and De Fonseca; one from the fashion segment: Fornari; and two specialising in the children’s footwear: Primigi and Siport/Barbie.

The book discusses various issues facing the footwear sector with statistics and tables from the consumer’s point of view as well as for manufacturers and retailers. Its aim is to reveal significant trends that can help lead to successful enterprises.
