Gel Smart launches foot orthotics line with anti-microbial top covers

US foot care company Gel Smart has introduced Fabric Smart anti-microbial top covers designed to eliminate odour problems associated with conventional textiles used for foot inserts.
Available for silicone heel cups, heel wedges, and both three-quarter and full-length insoles, the top cover is constructed of a durable, four-way stretch material that is anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and deodorizing, with the properties retained through repeated washings.
Fabric Smart-covered heel cups and wedges in the new line include features such as removable spurs for targeted spur relief; waffle gel patterns for maximum shock absorption; and soft centre spots to maximise shock absorption at the point of impact. The inserts are all made from the company’s proprietary S-Gel material, designed to absorb shock by cushioning and protecting the feet from pressure, abrasion and reducing friction between the foot and footwear.
