Insole, foot care and shoe care company Implus Footcare LLC, along with its financial sponsor FdG Associates LLC, has acquired the assets of ice traction footwear device company Yaktrax Inc. Transaction terms have not been disclosed.

Yaktrax products range from winter boots to jogging shoes, with the aim of facilitating snow and ice navigation and reducing slippage. Products can be quickly attached to and removed from footwear; are adaptable for use with different sizes and types of footwear; and are durable enough to accommodate activities such as extended walking, hiking and running activities.

Implus Footcare LLC designs, markets and distributes insoles, foot care devices, shoe care products, shoe laces and socks, specialising in athletic footwear and sporting goods.
