Athletic footwear retail group Footasylum has expanded its store in Manchester’s Arndale shopping centre, doubling the floor space. It said that having a larger store there had allowed it to create 14 new jobs.

Shoes from brands including Nike, ASICS, Hoka, Saucony and Berghaus are on offer at the expanded store, alongside Footasylum’s Monterrain, Forena and Epic Kid labels.

Chief marketing officer, Howard Tattersall, said: “Manchester is at the very heart of Footasylum’s DNA, and our new flagship in the Arndale is a celebration of that heritage.”
