Footwear group Timberland has introduced a limited-edition Luxe Waterproof Boot, a premium update to its six-inch work boot that first appeared in the early 1970s. 

The new model retains the familiar shape, padded collar and rugged outsole, while focusing on upgraded materials and construction.

The upper is made from nubuck supplied by Horween Leather Co. in Chicago, available in yellow or black. Horween’s mark is stamped inside the boot to highlight its origin. 

Additional changes include leather laces in place of nylon and an improved welt designed to support easier resoling. The boot uses a Vibram outsole to extend service life under everyday use.
