Boat shoe collaboration from Jacquemus and Timberland
Timberland and Jacquemus will debut a new footwear collaboration, with the French fashion house reimagining Timberland’s classic three-eye lug boat shoe, later this month.
Named “La Bateau” by Jacquemus, the updated style is based on a model first introduced by Timberland in 1978.
It features premium leather, a rugged lug outsole, soft leather lining, cotton laces, co-branded metal lace keepers, and square lace-tip eyelets. The shoe is presented in a vibrant “banana yellow” hue, a colour personally favoured by designer Simon Porte Jacquemus.
The Timberland x Jacquemus boat shoe will be released on April 23 via the Jacquemus website and select boutiques worldwide, including the brand’s new Los Angeles location opening April 24. It will also be available at Timberland’s Tokyo store and online.
