The ninety-seventh edition of exhibition Micam began in Milan on February 18, with Giovanna Ceolini (pictured), the president of Italy’s national footwear manufacturers’ association, Assocalzaturifici, hosting a number of prominent guests at the opening ceremony.

Those in attendance included Italy’s minister for business and ‘Made In Italy’, Adolfo Urso, the mayor of Milan, Elena Buscemi, and the president of the Italian Trade Agency, Matteo Zoppas.

At this edition of Micam, footwear brands are showing collections for the 2024-2025 autumn-winter season.

Leathergoods exhibition Mipel is running in parallel with Micam, with Lineapelle starting one day later (February 21), sharing two days with the finished product events.
