Sports group Puma introduced a new version of its Velocity Nitro shoe at the start of the new year.

This, the third release of Velocity, incorporates an extra two millimetres of the company’s proprietary foam material, Nitro. It describes Nitro as a nitrogen-infused foam technology that provides cushioning, comfort, versatility and “explosive energy”.

The new version of the shoe also has a breathable mesh upper, with tape to provide targeted support in areas of the foot most prone to stress.
