Sports group ASICS has launched a new tennis shoe, the Solution Speed FF 3, developed, it said, using traditional Japanese craftsmanship and advanced 3D modelling.

Among the features in the shoe is proprietary soling technology called Precision-Sole, which ASICS said would offer tennis players “a better combination of grip and flexibility on the court”.

Professional players to have tested the new shoe throughout the design and development process include Switzerland’s current Olympic singles champion, Belinda Bencic, and Australia’s Alex de Minaur.
