Golden Goose prepares for padel plunge

Footwear brand Golden Goose has confirmed that it is investing heavily in racket sport padel.

In 2024 the brand will launch a new collection called Star, comprising shoes and equipment for padel players.

More than that, it will also open a dedicated padel pavilion in Milan. The facility will have indoor and outdoor padel courts, plus a lounge area and a Golden Goose store.

Based on tennis, padel originated in Latin America but is becoming increasingly popular in Europe and other parts of the world.
