Welcome return to Puma Japan for new general manager

Sports group Puma has appointed Ryokusai Inoue as its new general manager for Japan with immediate effect. 

Ryokusai Inoue joined Puma Japan in 2015 as director of retail. The company has said the work he carried out in this role “laid the groundwork for solid growth” in the Japanese market.

He left in 2022 to become country manager for Japan for automotive company Tesla but has decided to return to Puma, where he will replace Kohei Hagio.

Chief executive, Arne Freundt, said he was glad of Mr Inoue’s return.
