National footwear industry body Abicalçados is preparing to launch a new event, the Brazilian Footwear Show. It will take place for the first time from November 21-23, with Porto Alegre as the venue.

Abicalçados has worked with Nürnberg Messe Brasil as its event organiser partner.

It has said 100 of Brazil’s most prominent footwear brands will exhibit at the show and that visitors will include more than 10,000 representatives of footwear retail groups across the country. Buyers from a wide range of international locations are also likely to attend.
Shoes on show will be for the winter 2024 fashion season.
