Korean brand puts Pebax in new shoe’s insert plate

South Korean outdoor brand Nepa has launched a new shoe called the Hiflow Cush. It worked with performance polymer supplier Arkema to develop an insert plate from its Pebax thermoplastic elastomer.
Nepa launched the shoe with K-pop star An Yu Jin and said the product was suitable for urban wear as well as sports and outdoor activities.
It said Pebax’s strength and capacity for providing energy return helped make this possible.
