Brazil’s national industry association for footwear components manufacturers, Assintecal, launched the celebration of its fortieth anniversary at the start of the Fimec exhibition in Novo Hamburgo (March 7-9).

President of the organisation, Gerson Berwanger, said Assintecal was celebrating 40 years of promoting exports and the design and creativity that were helping Brazil’s footwear manufacturers grow domestically and internationally.

“We are already planning for the next 40 years,” Mr Berwanger said.
