Footwear brand Clarks has opened its first new US store in three years. The new shop is in the American Dream Mall in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Clarks said it was looking forward to welcoming consumers to the store and that it was confident the experience would help US shoppers understand why some of its styles had been popular for decades.

There have been other recent openings for Clarks in Japan.
