Nike hits 50% recycled materials for latest shoe
Nike’s latest shoe, the Pegasus Turbo Next Nature, is made with at least 50% recycled material by weight and uses 100% recycled Flyknit yarns in the upper.

The yarns are solution dyed, a process that saves 70 litres of water for every kilogramme of yarn produced, said Nike.

The midsole made with at least 55% recycled ZoomX foam after market research showed runners wanted a versatile trainer, made responsibly, with more foam underfoot.

The shoe has been created with insights learned from sustainably-minded shoes such as the Air Zoom AlphaFly Next Nature.
