Applications open for €500,000 footwear recycling scheme

The programme, delivered in partnership with pre-owned clothing retailer Re-fashion, is designed to appeal to those who already have a measure of expertise in the area of used textiles or footwear recycling and whose proposed “solutions” will have a positive impact either within France or in Europe, more broadly.
A fund of at least €500,000 (around $577,000) will be made available by Re-fashion to selected collaborative projects formed by participants, alongside technical and operational support from SoScience in areas including intellectual property and project management. Members of the latter organisation’s scientific committee will also offer input.
