Tabi-toed Reebok x Maison Margiela Classic Leather shoe debuts

Kim Kardashian West recently revealed - via an Instagram Story - a new product of Reebok’s collaboration with Paris-headquartered fashion house Maison Margiela for 2021: a signature Margiela, Tabi-toed interpretation of Reebok’s Classic Leather trainer.

The co-designed shoe follows 2020’s Tabi-toed takes on Reebok’s Instapump Fury, which included both high-heeled and ankle boot styles.

With a painted white leather upper and weathered black detailing, the trainer radiates Maison Margiela’s markedly ‘art school’ approach.

The shoe’s tongues, laces and midfoot branding suggest a DIY dye-esque look, while the subtly prominent co-branded Margiela/Reebok tag sportily tones down the comparatively avant-garde (in typical Margiela Tabi toe style) split forefront.

According to reports, no release date has yet been announced, but Hypebeast has speculated that the style could feature alongside one of Maison Margiela’s seasonal collections.
