Industry associations to address ‘covid storm’ in online event

‘The Covid storm: From difficulties to relaunch’ is the first in its #PLAYfashion series, which they hope will “strengthen the relationship between the exhibition and its community”.
Speakers will include Joao Maia, managing director of Apiccaps (Portugal); Leticia Sperb Masselli, managing director of the Brazilian Footwear Project (Abicalçados - Brazil); Aqeel Ahmed Panaruna, chairman of CLE (Council for Leather Exports - India); and Li Yuzhong – Chairman of CLIA (Chinese Leather Industry Association).
Representatives from Bata Shoe and Goldstar will also discuss purchasing strategies.
Alessandra Albarelli, managing director of Riva del Garda Fierecongressi, said: “Encouraging innovation and the sector’s network: these are the objectives we have set ourselves to enable a rapid evolution of our Expo Riva Schuh and Gardabags events. The appointment on July 22 will undoubtedly be of interest due to the prestige of its speakers, followed by that of September 29 on the theme of retail and then international fashion trends on November 10.”
