Each pair uses colour and features to represent an iconic job from the cities of New York, Paris, Tokyo, Shanghai and London.
For example, the Fire Department of New York City (FDNY) shoe incorporates a reflective swoosh to suggest the reflective strips on FDNY uniforms, and a custom heel emblem with screwed down hardware and "90" allude to old-style firefighter helmets.
The Parisian bakers shoe (pictured) is all white to represent the profession's uniform, and has a wheat graphic sockliner with a "Baked Fresh Daily" logo to represent traditional bakers’ signage.
Jackets worn by London’s postmen and postwomen inspired the upper of the London shoe, while the Tokyo edition honors construction workers with a printed sockliner image of Japan’s cityscape. The Shanghai shoe lauds the city’s delivery workers and is inspired by the Chinese city’s top two food delivery services.
