As part of its autumn-winter 2019-2020 collection, adidas Originals has teamed up with technical fabric brand Gore-Tex to create a cold-weather version of the Stan Smith silhouette, using the brand’s latest insulation technology to create the Stan Smith x Gore-Tex Infinium Thermium.
 
Gore-Tex has described Infinium Thermium as “a super-thin membrane that is integrated into the toebox to provide vital insulation where it’s needed most, while allowing the rest of the foot to breathe”.

The shoe features an all-white leather upper with a contrast green trefoil logo heel tab and a white rubber cup-sole. A Gore-Tex woven label and embossed Gore-Tex Infinium logo are on the heel.
