New leaders for Pakistan’s footwear industry

The Pakistan Footwear Manufacturers Association (PFMA) has elected Muhammad Younas of Starlet as its chairman for the period spanning October 2019 to September 2020. Hamza Hafeez of Shafi Life Style and Waqar Ahmed Paracha of Yutian have been elected as senior vice-chairman and vice-chairman respectively.
 
On taking up the post, Mr Younas said he would try to maintain the pace set by outgoing chairman, Hassan Javed, to drive growth in the country’s footwear industry.
