Former Google exec picked to lead Tod’s ongoing digital transformation
                        Alessandra Domizi, a former Google executive, has been named chief digital and innovation officer for Tod’s. The Italian luxury shoe and leather good's brand has put Ms Domizi in charge of ramping up the brand’s digital transformation. Ms Domizi, who was industry head of fashion and retail at Google, will begin her new role 14 October.
Digital communication and online sales are key elements of Tod’s strategy to appeal to younger consumers. As Tod’s CEO Diego Della Valle said in August, while discussing first half of 2019 sales figures: “The real challenge for us is now to become even more attractive for young customers in new markets, who are currently the biggest spenders on fashion and luxury goods.”
