October deadline for applications for €60,000 SME funding

12/09/2019
Designers, manufacturers and technology providers from the 28 European Union countries have until October 31 to apply for an assistance package worth €60,000. This date is the deadline for applying for inclusion in an incubator programme called the Worth Partnership Project.

This will be the third group of Worth projects, for which funding has come from Cosme, a platform the European Commission set up in 2014 to help small and medium enterprises become more competitive and secure a successful future. Cosme comes to a conclusion in 2020.

Worth Partnership initiatives have to involve small and medium enterprises from at least two of the qualifying countries working together. In addition to the EU 28, Iceland, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia, Turkey, Moldova, Ukraine and Armenia have ‘Cosme-associated country’ status. Specifically, Worth ideas must come from the fashion, textile, footwear, furniture, leather, jewellery and accessories sectors. This link gives detailed information on how to participate.

Winning projects receive seed-funding of €10,000, help with media activity, participation at two international events, mentoring, training and access to networking events. The Worth Partnership Project values this at a total of €60,000.
