Footaction to support young talent on Pensole course

Footaction, a subsidiary of Foot Locker, is partnering footwear design college Pensole to launch a course aimed at students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), of which there are 85 in the US.

"Footaction's No 1 Way Design Program will create opportunity and bring talents from untapped communities to the forefront," said Richard McLeod, vice-president of marketing for Footaction.

Pensole founder D'Wayne Edwards and his instructors will provide mentorship to the students, who can apply online at www.pensole.com.
