Assocalzaturifici president appoints executive board

The priorities Mr Badon has identified for his term of office include innovation in footwear manufacturing, more sustainable production and close dialogue with parallel institutions.
Mr Badon (pictured) will take lead responsibility for all institutional activities, in particular those involving wider business organisations, especially the main national representative body of Italian manufacturers, Confindustria and (its fashion-focused sub-division) Confindustria Moda. He will also supervise the organisation of the Micam exhibition, which takes place twice a year in Milan.
Vice-presidents who will join him on the executive board will be Federico Bartoli, who will be the lead for training; Giovanna Ceolini, who will lead on European matters; Pasquale della Pia who will take charge of digitalisation and sustainability; Salina Ferretti who will lead on business in Asia and the Americas, Seoul, as well as on children’s footwear; and Giampietro Melchiorri who will be responsible for business in Russia, the former CIS bloc countries and emerging markets.
