France’s leather craftsmanship on display in Seoul

French brands from the fields of footwear, leathergoods and gloves are currently showcasing their products at the Lotte department store in Seoul as part of an initiative aimed at improving their presence in South Korea.

It forms part of an exposition entitled: The history of France’s passion for leather accessories. This event, which aims to put the spotlight on France’s leather savoir-faire, was previously held in Hong Kong in 2015 and in Shanghai in 2016. 

The organisers include the French Footwear Federation and leather industry body the Conseil National du Cuir. It is also supported by the national federations that oversee glovemaking and leathergoods manufacturing in France.

The exhibition in Seoul runs from September 30-October 28.
