Venice is the venue for the 2018 Business of Luxury Summit

Tod’s chief executive, Diego Della Valle, and the chief sustainability officer at luxury group Kering, Marie-Claire Daveu, will be among the speakers at the 2018 Financial Times Business of Luxury Summit.

This year’s event will take place in Venice from May 20-22. The newspaper has specified ‘Luxury Disruption: The Industry Innovators Changing The Narrative’ as the main theme. “The summit will discuss where next for the industry,” the FT has said.

Cédric Charbit, chief executive of Balenciaga, designer Katharine Hamnett, and the creative directors of Salvatore Ferragamo and Roberto Cavalli, Paul Andrew and Paul Surridge, respectively, will also be among the speakers.
