Lefaso puts Vietnam’s 2017 shoe export revenue growth at 10%

Vietnamese industry body Lefaso has given a figure of $17 billion for the value of footwear exports from the Asian country in 2017.

This figure would represent an increase of 10% compared to footwear export revenues in 2016.

Lefaso said 34% of all footwear export value had come from shipments of shoes to the US. The European Union, South Korea, Japan and China were the other top-five markets for Vietnamese footwear.
