FICE has its sights on emerging markets

Footwear industry organisation FICE has outlined how it plans to promote Spanish shoe brands abroad in 2018.

As in previous years, there is a strong focus on strengthening Spanish footwear’s traditional markets through participation in trade events like Expo Riva Schuh, Micam and Pure London.

It will also help Spanish brands to make an impact on emerging markets and strategic markets where there are strong possibilities for growth. This will include attending events such as Italian footwear and accessories show White Milano; Interbride Fashion, a German event dedicated to fashion for weddings; and Chinese children’s fashion exhibition CBME Expo/Cool Kids. 

FICE will no longer showcase Spanish brands at CPM Collection in Russia or Playtime in Japan. 

As well as supporting Spanish footwear manufacturers at established trade shows, FICE will also organise promotional exhibitions in South Korea, Japan, Australia and Poland to help domestic brands to make an impact on these markets.
