Revenues continue to fall at Tod’s
High-end footwear and accessories group Tod’s has reported revenues for the first nine months of 2017 of €722.2 million, a decline year on year of 4.7%.

Its two biggest brands, Tod’s and Hogan, suffered declines of 7.4% and 8.8% respectively. The Fay brand, the group’s fourth biggest, suffered a smaller drop in revenues, 1.7% in the first three quarters of 2017 compared to the same months in 2016.

Only the Roger Vivier brand recorded an increase. In the first nine months of 2017, the Roger Vivier brand brought in revenues of €131.3 million, an increase of 9.6% compared to the same months in 2016.

Chief executive, Diego Della Valle, said on announcing the results that the group would stick to a previously specified strategy for returning to growth of increasing its awareness of consumer needs, while investing in higher levels of creativity and innovation and developing new channels of distribution and communication.
