UITIC to pave the way for Porto congress

The International Union of Shoe Industry Technicians (UITIC) will host a press conference during the Lineapelle exhibition in Milan to present formally the twentieth UITIC Congress. The press conference will take place on the afternoon of October 5.

Portugal’s principal footwear industry association Apiccaps will host the congress in Porto from May 16-18, 2018. The event will open with visits to local footwear factories on May 16, followed by congress sessions on May 17 and 18.

Around 50 speakers will make presentations over the two days, with ‘From Fashion to Factory: A New Technological Age’ as the main theme.
