Vibram warns of spike in counterfeits

Specialist soles and footwear maker Vibram has issued a new warning for customers to be on the alert for counterfeit products after a surge in complaints.

“Of late, we've received hundreds of complaints from those duped by these impostors delivering, or not, poor quality product masquerading as Vibram,” it said.

Its legal teams pursue counterfeiters posing as Vibram, many of which use authentic-looking sites. It warned that purchases should only be made through its website or through official dealers.
