Footwear at the forefront of strong growth in Alicante in March

Footwear contributed export revenues of €137.5 million in March out of a total across all sectors for Alicante of €532.7 million. This indicates growth for footwear of 14.2% compared to the same month in 2016.
The president of regional footwear industry association Avecal, Marián Cano, has said the industry is beginning to benefit from “greater political and economic stability”, especially in important markets in other parts of the European Union.
