Taiwanese footwear manufacturing group Pou Chen has announced sales figures of more than $1.3 billion for the first two months of 2017. This figure represents a year-on-year fall of around 6%.

Pou Chen subsidiaries Yue Yuen and Pou Sheng, which manufacture athletic and outdoor footwear on behalf of a large group of prominent international brands, registered better sales figures for the first two months of the year, with Yue Yuen also bringing $1.3 billion into the group over the the two months and Pou Sheng a figure of almost $435 million, signifying year-on-year increases of 0.9% and 11.6% respectively.
