The CEO of UK-based luxury brand Jimmy Choo, Pierre Denis, described 2016 as a “landmark year” for the company, as he confirmed its latest financial results.

The brand reported in January that its sales for last year came in at £364 million, a 14.5% increase compared to 2015. In its complete results, it revealed that net income in 2016 was £24.3 million, 27.9% higher than the previous year.

“We will continue to deliver on our long-term strategy of growth through the creative and innovative development of our collections and the sustained expansion of our distribution network, particularly in areas such as Asia, where we remain underpenetrated,” Mr Denis added.
