Design na Pele collections to go on display in Las Vegas

Capsule collections from Brazilian fashion brands Guilhermina and Kildare, which were developed as part of the Design na Pele initiative, will be displayed at the forthcoming FN Platform footwear show in Las Vegas (February 21-23). 

Design na Pele is a project coordinated by the Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry (CICB) that draws on the inspiration from fashion and design to promote innovation in the leather sector. 

Guilhermina and Kildare have each created a special collection of leather articles, including footwear, with the help of Brazilian tanneries and designers. Kildare worked with Ronaldo Fraga and Guilhermina partnered with Patrícia Viera. They aimed to show the quality and value of leather produced in Brazil. 

The collections will be launched at a special reception held at FN Platform’s Cosmo lounge (February 22), as well as being exhibited at the stand for the Brazilian Footwear project and Guilhermina’s own stand throughout the exhibition.
