UITIC congratulates executive committee members

The International Union of Shoe Industry Technicians (UITIC) has congratulated two members of its executive committee on important new appointments in their home countries.

Li Yu Zhong, a member of the UITIC’s executive committee since 2011, has been named as the new chairman of the China Leather Industry Association, taking over from Su Chaoying.

And as reported on footwearbiz earlier this year, UITIC’s treasurer and executive committee member, Miguel Angel Martínez, has taken over as director of Spanish footwear research and technology institute Inescop.
