Bogs lends a hand to UK charities

Outdoor footwear brand Bogs has donated hundreds of pairs of its boots to charities in the UK. The organisations to benefit were: Bolton Mountain Rescue, Shoe Aid, Search and Rescue Dog Association (SARDA), and Support Adoption for Pets.

Bogs donated wellies to over 60 staff at Bolton Mountain Rescue, based in the North West of England. The area they patrol includes a lot of moorland and so they require good quality wellies to keep their feet warm and dry.

Support Adoption for Pets received 800 pairs of wellies, which will be distributed to rescue centres and rehoming centres across the UK.
Shoe Aid, a charity which collects shoes for people in need, received 350 pairs of 750 Bogs boots. Some of these will be sent to Ghana to be used by those working on building homes in villages; the rest will go to an orphanage in Malawi.

Several pairs of Bogs Blaze high boots have gone to the staff at SARDA and SARDA Scotland to provide waterproof insulation during team training days.
