Organisers want Francal to generate hope for Brazilian footwear

The forty-eighth edition of the Francal exhibition will take place in São Paulo from June 26-29. Organisers have said they expect 200 influential overseas buyers from 29 different countries to be among the visitors assessing the latest collections of 500 exhibiting Brazilian footwear manufacturers who will present shoes under 1,500 brand names.

President of the organising company Francal Feiras, Abdala Jamil Abdala, said in the build-up to the event: “What we need is for the [Brazilian] footwear sector to get its confidence back. We need the sector to believe in itself and to have hope that there are better days ahead.”
