AAFA establishes Footwear Action Committee
The American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA) has set up a Footwear Action Committee, headed by its vice-president of international trade, Nate Herman.
Mr Herman, a former footwear industry analyst for the US Department of Commerce, has been leading the AAFA's footwear work since 2001.
AAFA CEO Rick Helfenbein said: "This new working group will enable AAFA to further the great services we already provide our members on footwear. This committee will serve as a dedicated and formalised platform for members to discuss issues unique to the production, sourcing and selling of shoes.”
