Caleres names six finalists in emerging designer competition

It will present a cash grant of $25,000 to one of the finalists during Fashion Week in its home city of Saint Louis in November to support the ongoing work of the winner.
The six finalists are:
Julie Haus and Jason Alkire
Mike Eckhaus and Zoe Latta
Azede Jean-Pierre
Katharine Polk
Brandon Sun and
Jordana Warmflash.
“Some of the values we live by every day as a company include curiosity, creativity and passion,” said Caleres chief executive, Diane Sullivan, on announcing the names. “The competition embodies those values, and we are always inspired by the designers that participate. Each year the bar is raised—we can’t wait to meet the candidates this year.”
